Hello, my name is Christian Samson and you are looking at my work titled "Shame". The work is a graphically designed poster meant to shame a person. This poster is based on China's social system of social credit in which people are shamed for minor offenses like j-walking, public intoxication, etc. The poster reflects that same system but in America.

My name is Christian Samson. I'm the child of Ethiopian immigrants and I grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I always took photos for my family and I started learning Photoshop in the 7th grade so I've always had an eye for digital media which later grew thanks to the digital media arts program at Hamline University.

Hamline DMA Presents the final projects for the Digital Media Arts Seniors 2020! It's a major undertaking in any ordinary year, but this was to be no ordinary year.... Halfway through the semester, seniors were required to transition their projects from a physical exhibition to an online show. Most projects had to be completely reconfigured to comply with an online format and to comply with the statewide lockdown and social distancing. Please applaud these seniors’ ability to roll with sudden changes, and still manage to keep most of their humor and irony intact.
