Amongst a Pandemic

My project is about the isolation of the global pandemic of COVID-19. With this isolation comes mental and physical stress. This can come from fear, family being ill, or the isolation itself. I tried to understand this stress, and see what people were doing to alleviate their own stress. The only people I could photograph during this time were the people I was spending my time with, my family. This plays in highlighting the isolation aspect of the project. I then asked them questions to understand where their stress was coming from, and how they dealt with that stress. The introduction photos are taken in a way that shows the viewer what I was seeing when talking to them directly as if you were in my shoes. The rest of the photos are taken as if no one is watching. The person in their environment doing what they enjoy. This is supposed to elicit the thought that you are not alone when dealing with this stress. Everyone has their own little way of dealing with it. Find your way, and enjoy it while you can.
